EVIDENTIAL MEDIUMSHIP

So, what is evidential mediumship? Evidential mediumship refers to the communication from a client’s loved one in spirit to the medium that the medium then presents to the client for validation. It is the adherence to the necessity of getting validation from the client throughout that is an imperative component of the reading, providing proof of their spirit loved ones continued existence and presence – and, most importantly, as validation for spirits messages.

Think of a triangle. At the top of the triangle, you have spirit. At the base you have the medium and client. As the medium, Christian is a conduit for spirit. An instrument that spirit uses to communicate through. Christian receives information from spirit utilizing various senses such as sight (clairvoyance), sound (clairaudience) and feeling (clairsentience). Christian then uses tools and mechanics developed through much education and practice to interpret this information from spirit and present it to the client for validation. And so it goes. A fluid motion of energy and communication from spirit, to and through medium to client. This is why it is important for the client to be aware that they too play an important role in the energy and flow of the communication process, and thus come into the reading with an open mind and an open heart.
